You are strongly encouraged to make at least one backup copy of your original distribution package as soon as you download it. You are also strongly encouraged to make a backup copy of the email message containing your permanent licence details.

LGOSystems products do not modify any of their components as an anti-piracy measure. You can safely make backups without wondering whether the product will still work after a restore. The same applies if you have just purchased a new Macintosh. Just copy the product from your old Mac to your new machine. The most you should ever have to do is to re-enter your licence details.

Cognatrix, CognatrixImporter and FrameSeer are reasonably large applications. Not all users have high-speed Internet links so LGOSystems will normally attempt to minimise download times by releasing incremental updaters. After applying an update, you are encouraged to:

• Backup the newly-updated application; and/or
• Make a backup copy of the updater.

If you do the former, you should normally be able to reinstall a working version from your latest backup. If you decide to do the latter, you will have to reinstall the original version, and then apply all of the relevant updaters in order.

Stripper and IPGadget are comparatively small applications. Updates will normally be released as complete replacement packages.
