Both Cognatrix and CognatrixImporter come with comprehensive user guides. If you have already downloaded the applications, you can open the guides from the Help menu. Alternatively, you can download the manuals separately from here:

The guides are in Adobe Acrobat® portable document format (PDF). Each guide is designed to be both your online help and your printed reference manual.

using a guide as online help...

The User Guide command in the Help menu opens the guide in your default PDF viewer. In Acrobat and Preview, the table of contents entries appear in the bookmarks palette for quick navigation. Internal cross-references are also hyperlinked.

printing a guide...

The guide is formatted to print correctly both on Quarto (8.5x11 inches) and A4 (210x297mm) paper. We suggest that you use Adobe Acrobat with the Page Scaling print option set to Fit to Paper.

Although the guide has been designed so that it will print correctly on a single-sided greyscale printer, you will obtain better results if you use a duplexing (double-sided) CMYK laser printer.
