To decode a packet, first select that packet in the Capture tab and then click on the Decode tab.

Double-clicking on a packet in the Capture tab is a shortcut for clicking on the Decode tab.

Use the navigation buttons to move to the first, previous, next and last packets, respectively.

If a single packet is selected in the Capture tab, the navigation buttons apply to all the packets in the Capture tab. The status area at the lower left of the tab shows which packet of the whole range of packets is currently being decoded.

If two or more packets are selected in the Capture tab, the navigation buttons only apply to the packets in the selection. The status area shows which packet is currently being decoded, both as its position in the whole range and as its position relative to the selection.

The maximum number of bytes shown in the Hex and ASCII columns can be changed as a user preference.
