	Cognatrix 1.5.2: Functionally identical to Cognatrix 1.5.1 but is able to detect an attempt to open a Cognatrix 1.6 (“multilingual”) document. Responds with the message “The document could not be opened”, rather than just appearing to do nothing. Cognatrix 1.5.1: Fixes an (unreported) bug in HTML generation where a term name contains multiple embedded spaces. Cognatrix 1.5: Adds MultiTes support to XML generation (see note). Adds ability to set line-endings in XML files (mainly for Windows support). Fixes a bug in drag-and-drop between Cognatrix documents. Updates user guide. Improved handling of complex URLs containing spaces and other characters that need to be "percent-escaped". Cognatrix 1.2.2: Adds a popup menu to the Generate XML... dialog to control how active links are handled when generating XML in Cognatrix format (omit entirely, prefer descriptions, prefer URLs, or include full anchors). Adds a command to the Help menu to quickly locate an RSS feed containing information relevant to Cognatrix. Cognatrix 1.2.1: Clicking OK in the Preferences window now saves partial edits in text fields correctly. It is no longer necessary to press return or tab, or click in another field. The XML tab of the Preferences window lets you define alternative locations for DTDs. If you delete a DTD Location field, Cognatrix will now omit the corresponding DTD specification from any generated XML. The Insert Link... command now behaves as follows: When you click an active link... The link editor opens with the fields of the active link readied for editing. The new link replaces the old link. When you choose Insert Link... with no text selected in the User-defined field... The link editor opens with the default URL (taken from Preferences) in the URL field and the Description field is empty. The new link is inserted at the text cursor. When you select one or more characters and choose Insert Link... Cognatrix checks the selection to see if it contains a well-formed URL. A URL is said to be well-formed if it contains both a protocol and a host portion. For example, both "http://myhost.com" and "p://h" are well-formed: If the selection contains a well-formed URL, the link editor opens with the selection in the URL field and the Description field is empty; If the selection does not contain a well-formed URL, the link editor opens with the default URL (taken from Preferences) and the Description field contains the selection. In either case, the new link replaces the selection. Cognatrix XML now includes active links. To maintain maximum compatibility we redefined the <value> element in the Cognatrix DTD to allow for embedded anchors. Although other elements reference <value> as a sub-element, Cognatrix will only ever generate <a href="..url.."> xxx </a> sequences inside <user_defined_field> elements. The Cognatrix DTD has been updated to version 1.1 to reflect this change. Cognatrix 1.2: Cognatrix now supports extensions of .html, .php, .jsp and .asp when generating HTML. This means that HTML templates can now be customized to make use of server-side functionality in the preparation of thesaurus web pages. User guide updated to cover above change. Also adds Appendix B to describe previously undocumented preference options that may be configured by an administrator via the defaults command in a Terminal session. Discussion of user-defined substitution keys moved to Appendix B. Cognatrix 1.1: Cognatrix now reloads its internal cache of HTML templates whenever the Generate HTML... command is invoked. Previously, it was necesary to quit and relaunch Cognatrix before template changes could be propagated. Cognatrix 1.0.1: Fix an inconsistency where clicking the close button in a changed thesaurus document prompts the user to save but the save always fails (whereas pressing Command+S succeeds). Fix incorrect wording in the splash screen of the demo version.
